The XX concurent users only comes into play if the licensed application offers such a thing. In the case of something like Office 2013, you'd definitely need 300 license...

But for Something like... Raiser's Edge, or a Student Information System... You'd only need to license for the expected number of concurrent users.

IE: Raiser's Edge can be installed on every computer on my campus... But only 15 of us can log in at one time.

Yeah, KDE isn't my favorite, but everyone here was able to use it without having to retrain them, so it's what we went with. I was very glad I stuck to the "universal" desktop environments when making recommendations tho, makes life so much easier.

I hate that the Super (Windows) key is only a modifier. It's much easier and more familiar to hit that key and have the activities overview come up than alt+space or alt+f2 (whatever it actually is) for krunner.

Docker container is running. NextCloud is installed, but I need to get the correct selinux setting for the apps folder, and create the reverse proxy for NextCloud to access the collabora container with. Hopefully finish up in the next couple of evenings.

Thanks to those of you that offered a suggestion. I built a second RDS server and applied my group policy and browsing was fine. I then started to think about what I needed to do to move it in to production and replace the one that had the browsing issue. Then it hit me.... I have load balancing on my SonicWall. RDS is mapped through the firewall on https. Therefore requests that went out over https could go out over either interface, but always came back on one. This is why it would sometimes work. This is also why most other sites would work, but https (in this case Office 365 which always goes over https) would only work once in a while. Adding a route to force all traffic from the RDS server out over the interface that traffic will come in on fixed the problem.

Season 2 was the best, IMO.

It's pretty hit or miss, but has some of the funniest scenes I've seen in a long time here and there.

This past season (Season 3) had probably the craziest thing I have ever seen on TV.

@fuznutz04 that's a good question, I'm not sure. I know that there is one for desktops.

This is usually caused by people abusing google service etc from that external IP address.

I don't think the document handling in ownCloud will handle XPS (office) documents yet, unless you go ahead and compile LibreOffice Online yourself 😞

I've used their product before. It's pretty cool. If you have multiple servers (and are using the paid version), it will handle load balancing between the servers and all for you, automatically... Last time I tested it was with VMware.

Edit: Only the paid version does the automatic load balancing, IIRC.

Elastix has been having huge problems with their database stuff not being reliable in Elastix 4 across the board. But at least with the old builds, it was working after some standard modifications.

But I can't state enough that I would not keep using Elastix 4. They are just not able to support the product any longer. It's just too risky to use in production today.
