      A linked article on that page
      https://www.engadget.com/2016/10/28/digitally-mobile-wallet/

      This reminds me of the electronic transfer devices used in the William Shatner book Series turned mini series, TekWar. Except it's contactless.

      Though there's still tracking of the transfer, so compared to cash or BitCoin, still not a fan.

      @Dashrender yes it was talking about free vpn. Here is main disadvantages:
      usafe or no encryption protocols;
      IPv6 DNS and/or WebRTC leaks;
      inconvenient queuing during a server accessing;
      access to a very limited number of servers;
      bans on Torrenting and P2P sharing;
      limited Linux platform support as well as limited devices support

      I don't have any of those issues with some free VPNs.

      Looks interesting... I won't lie, I did expect something akin to what the IE team used to send to the Mozilla devs on a new version release of Firefox.

      I've built one once... It was a Firewall / Router using straight up Linux, Shorewall, and ClamAV for a 10 meg connection. Our main firewall just went kaput, and the company was not responding to phone calls for support (it's a long story).

      Set up Linux on a system with 8 NICs and went to town.

      Edit:

      It's not hard to build one if you understand the concepts of routing and such... Not for the faint of heart if you have to make one work well enough to be used in production.

      I do realize that, but if the system works on LInux, it will probably work anywhere. 😉

      That's not solid logic. Lots of things run on Linux but not in a browser.

      webView.loadUrl("https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=" + "url of pdf file");

      That prompts any URL to open using google docs viewer which works great in chrome mobile browser.

      Is that ASP.NET code or classic ASP? Our pages are classic ASP.

      After some great advice from you folks, we are going to be very disciplined about the fact that you don't just throw something like this into production. A lot of planning hours will go into it. (HP c7000 enclosure with a couple servers and flexconnect gear). Thanks all!

      If you're in a curious mood split apart the laptop batteries and play with the 18650s inside. I highly recommend you read about them first, but damn are they awesome fun.

      Just confirmed this works on Ubuntu as well. I imagine that means Mint would also work, but have not confirmed Mint yet, and probably will not as the only installs of that I have are workstations that don't require quite the same level of monitoring.

      I guess you're right, don't even need Zentyal at this point, lol. But I refuse to not have some kind of GUI/interface to manage my Linux services. I have WAY too much to do in my day to be farting around with command lines when I have work to get done.

      Based on the same needs to save time, I refuse to have the GUI 😉 Same reason I don't have a GUI on Windows.

      You're on crack, and many other things. Never speak to me again.

      Everything is so fast. I can often get tasks done before other team members get a GUI up and running to look for what they need. Often I can do my CLI task without even logging in, just issue the command remotely.

      The laptops are used for development and they need to have full control over the systems.  Also, the user is the CEO.

      even more reasons why he shouldn't have those rights. Dev's should be forced to program in a locked down environment to ensure they write code that WORKS in a locked down environment. LOL

      Yeah I know.. it might not really work that way, I have no clue.. just sayin' is all.
