Great! Now we know it will be coming soon to all the other providers. That's why competition is great ! 🙂

I'd guess unlikely. Rackspace and Amazon have had this for years and it didn't spread. DO and Linode have load balancers, Vultr has firewall. They do different features and I've not seen too much rush to converge.

      There's an App called Whatchanged...

Start on a machine without the ODBC connection...

Run Whatchanged, and let it scan the registry.

Add the ODBC conneciton, and let it scan again to see where it is (may be) putting the password in the registry...

http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/what_changed,1.html -- It's an older App, but it still works.

The point was, misusing revert is wrong, using the needful is just regional. Unrelated items. And I've found the UK to use revert and defend it more than any other region.

Yeah but the Brits are weird. Lol

I know - they like to get pissed and suck on fags...

@scottalanmiller I agree. Looking at it like auto insurance where cars can be replaced for a price and medical bills can be paid just doesn't have parallels in IT.

Not at all. It's kind of like getting insurance against doing business badly.

And, at the end of the day, it's just monetary compensation for lost data, which I doubt can really be accurately assessed. If your data is gone, all the insurance in the world won't bring it back, and its value isn't well-replaced by dollars.

Encryption on HDMI was a major deal when it released.

Thanks for the addition, I'm researching right now and blat.exe seems very worthy looking and simple with good reviews on its Sourceforge page:

The main firewall config and port forwarding works fine. The issue is with the openvpn server (or client) and its iptables not handling the traffic properly.

I get that the person in question might already know one blog and not another. My point was that if they did, they likely didn't need a link and if they didn't, the security perception is a risk because it's not a good one.

I visit KB4 frequently. This post does not have the right tags attached to it as I mentioned earlier so it wasn't showing up where you would normally find the articles.

Ah, I see. What tag do you expect? Just the "knowbe4" tag?

It wasn't tagged properly on the KB4 site. It doesnt show up under scam of the week

This is why USB control is so important. It's isn't too difficult to make your own malicious USB drives, and even easier to use one like this.

      Yup, and if you're evil...

Varnish Cache cannot handle TLS connections, so Apache will continue to server HTTPS on port 443, for now at least.

That's unfortunate 😕 I use Varnish on Cloudways, but everything is HTTPS... Does that mean Varnish is doing nothing?

It just means that an SSL layer has to be in front of it. Nginx is used on most platforms to handle SSL.
