      Great minds think alike !

Thanks for the addition, I'm researching right now and blat.exe seems very worthy looking and simple with good reviews on its Sourceforge page:

@njbair Thanks for joining the community to share your appreciation. I'm glad I posted the steps I took to resolve the issue because if you would have asked me today how I fixed it I'm not sure I could have remembered.

The main firewall config and port forwarding works fine. The issue is with the openvpn server (or client) and its iptables not handling the traffic properly.

I get that the person in question might already know one blog and not another. My point was that if they did, they likely didn't need a link and if they didn't, the security perception is a risk because it's not a good one.

I visit KB4 frequently. This post does not have the right tags attached to it as I mentioned earlier so it wasn't showing up where you would normally find the articles.

Ah, I see. What tag do you expect? Just the "knowbe4" tag?

It wasn't tagged properly on the KB4 site. It doesnt show up under scam of the week

This is why USB control is so important. It's isn't too difficult to make your own malicious USB drives, and even easier to use one like this.

      Yup, and if you're evil...

Varnish Cache cannot handle TLS connections, so Apache will continue to server HTTPS on port 443, for now at least.

That's unfortunate 😕 I use Varnish on Cloudways, but everything is HTTPS... Does that mean Varnish is doing nothing?

It just means that an SSL layer has to be in front of it. Nginx is used on most platforms to handle SSL.

Probably the main thing that puts me off moving jobs is that it means moving in to someone else's shit, which you then have to spend months, or even years, sorting out.

This is actually my favorite part.

If the new boss is open to upgrades and fixing everything up and implementing better documentation and records and stuff, it can be a lot of fun "restoring" the old thing, or "modernizing".

To me it has the same appeal as restoring a car or a run down house project or something. There is some enjoyment in tinkering everything back to life and putting on a fresh coat of paint and blowing out the dust. Plus there is just a lot of work to do, versus when everything is smooth and automated and you find yourself getting bored.

I agree, the "fixing it" is one of the best parts.

@TAHIN said in Microsoft Teams ready for Production ?:

Teams and Slack both set out to solve an incredibly big problem with email: conversation-based collaboration. I really want to love it because if you run analysis on the type of email that flows between users of an organization, 70% of it is 'read once and delete' or one-liners. It's like supercharged IM. It took a while to wrap my head around the whole idea, but now I can see the overall potential, and it's staggering. But the OP comment regarding external user limitations is why we're not pursuing it. Having project collaboration for our internal users on Teams and having to import emails from external users would add too much overhead and confusion, and be a training nightmare.

Other reasons we're not using it:

A lot of documentation doesn't exist yet. Such as if we roll this out, we'll have archiving / legal hold requirements. Doesn't have the kind of 3rd party product integrations that Outlook has, which we rely on.

We're actually fully licensed for it, wouldn't cost anything, but the use case isn't quite there until it can include everyone. We'll probably re-visit it in 12-18 months.

Same here, we are licensed for it and turn it off. Just doesn't make sense for us.
