I don't see any security issue, if anything you should allow people to see what's being installed whenever they are silently installed or not.
It just seems strange and you are being vague with what you are asking and you are not listening to the same repeated answers which Scott stated.

Post some of this batch file leaving out any sensitive information you are worried about, but remember it's plain text, so you should not be storing passwords or anything sensitive in batch files anyway and even if you encrypted the batch file, the user will still need to unecrypt to run the file, so thats a flawed option.

If there is nothing malicious in the batch file, then you should have no issue posting it?

after reading my post again, I saw that it suggested that I was able to do this, but I was not able.

I really want something easy like this but it needs more research and web development skills, so posting it here encase someone that has that can provide easier steps and successfully accomplish this.

In my situation, I can't do a thing about eliminating faxes, but what I can do is require they be done using secure methods. Easy to quantify economically, but much harder to convey the security issues and still ensure day to day operations.

Use Drupal. It's almost purpose built for this type of stuff. Custom content types and views make anything possible.

/etc/tuned/active-profile

And there is service called tuned, thanks for this.

That's fine, because the controller can be backed up and then the VM deleted. A new VM can then be built and the controller restored.

During the downtime, your AP's will continue to work just fine. You will only lose history.
