Well if you are approaching as an MSP, this is to be expected. You are assumed to be reselling the service. This is the only thing they allow to be resold.

You as the MSP buy 101 licenses and resell 10 each to a few clients at MSRP -5%.

I'm with Scott, if your company expects you to have specific skills for them and you didn't walk through the door with those skills, then they need to provide you paid time to acquire them. But your time is your time. Learn what you want to help you further your career.

huh, that's weird.. by default OneNote wants to make you put it on OneDrive (at least it used to) so making it be local would require extra work.

Thanks I would appreciate that. I use Techsoup regularly so I've seen what they offer. It's a good resource but I haven't seen anything mind blowing, not that it's required. I'm currently building a Raspberry Pi project that uses a capacitive sensing board to allow clients (verbal and non-verbal) to interact with different objects. When touched the Raspberry Pi will play an audio file that names what it is. This is an example of the types of projects I would be looking for. Even ideas would be great although take it easy, I'm new to Python.

I don't know much about MS Dynamics CRM but I know from having used Dynamics GP (keep in mind while they share part of the name they are not the same products nor related at all aside from name) a lot there isn't much information as far as training on it either written or video. You really have to learn from yourself, other people and conferences.
