    • Reputation required to downvote?

I just came across a spam post relating to Excel password recovery and noted that both posts were downvoted -2 so I figured I'd add to that.

Unfortunately, I've been informed that : "You do not have enough reputation to downvote this post"
Not that I use this feature but was curious what the reputation requirements are.

As per the above but to migrate the desktops, use Transwiz. Takes 1 minute to migrate the user profile from the old domain to the new.

    • RE: Invoke-WebRequest sometimes fails to connect to https

@JaredBusch said in Invoke-WebRequest sometimes fails to connect to https:

The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Could this be a TLS issue? Perhaps the version of PowerShell on one computer is using TLS1 and the others are using TLS1.2?

Your site appears to support 1.2 and 1.3 only so perhaps the following added to your PS script before the WebRequest will work:

      [Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = "tls12"

Thanks for calling My Company. Remember that I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. I'd suggest you leave a message because what I do have is very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you leave a message now that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.

    • RE: Windows 10 Performance tweaks

@pmoncho : I have to ask: why? I understand if you're using Windows 8.1 or the first couple versions of Windows 10 with the weird start menu but with current revisions the start menu differs very little from Windows 7. Turn off the groups on the right hand side and it's just a more modern skin to the old...

    • RE: MeshCentral 2 - unknown device michael-7-x64

This is an AV sandbox performing a scan and run on this application.
Happens regularly when deploying various remote management tools to devices with AV.
You'll get some Microsoft VMs, Bitdefender automated machines, Kaspersky, etc...

It looks as though this SPECIFIC device name is from Bitdefender's sandbox :

I wasn't aware I could use RTSP to feed to another NVR. Gonna have to give that a try.

If you go into the main page of each camera you can change the "Mode" dropdown to "Standalone" and then an "Enable RTSP Authentication" field shows up so you can create credentials for it..

I've run BlueIris with several G3 cams in RTSP mode without issue. Way more powerful/complete software than what UniFi offers anyways.
Milestone XProtect is also a great package now that they've increased the camera count (I believe 8 now) of their "lite" offering.

The following documentation should answer your question.

      https://www.snapt.net/solutions/haproxy-load-balancer-gui

It is a web framework built upon HaProxy with additional features.

And all of this can be yours for the low price of $1200 per year (or as much as $9500).
