No, you should never need to do that because it should always be an outbound registration to keep the trunk up.

@jaredbusch said in Phyiscal Access Control Systems - Recommendations?:

I would highly recommend a system that uses proximity cards because anything else is just a pain in the ass for users.

If some current system (recall I am 15 years out of touch on this) supports modern NFC standards, you may be able to have a phone app to allow entry. I assume this exists, but I have no idea.

I did see some systems from HID that had mobile device access -

      OpenVPN is FIPS compliant.

It's a cryptographic module that can be inside solutions so the term would be "FIPS 140-2 Inside" technically (As the implementation hasn't been validated).

@momurda - I will have to keep an eye on the last seen. So far, those reports are accurate on mine, as they are newly-imaged computers that have not been deployed.

@travisdh1 said in Reflexion by Sophos? Am I alone in having issues?:

I haven't experienced any issues with Sophos and email, yet. The one part time job in taking on uses Sophos endpoint protection, and was stopping a program from running, not that said program is any great shakes itself.

Are you using Sophos' hosted mailbagging service, though?

I honestly don't know for sure yet, is be surprised the as the secretary said they have mail hosted through Gmail.

THen what are you responding about?

@romo said in Sudo without Password?:

When using configuration management tools it does make things a lot easier to work with if you atleast have one user with passwordless sudo. You really don't need to log to the servers anymore, you only need to properly secure your ssh keys.

With things like salt stack, you don't even need that.
