Downloading? It was done downloading before my finger was off the mouse, lol.

I can't wait to dive into 2016, though. They're bringing a lot of improvements that me and this team I am with here are excited about in the RemoteApp and VDI realms.

@scottalanmiller said in Azure Outage... Again:

The loss of knowledge of concrete was such a big deal that until the mid 1700s, we had gone over a thousand years without any idea of how concrete was made. So Rome was making concrete builds for hundreds of years longer than we've known about concrete in modern times.

That means that for well over a millennium... humans had to look upon the structures of the Roman Empire and say... that's so neat, what the heck is that material that they used?

It's interesting what history lost. Archimedes made steam engines 2000 years before we figured it out as well but it was useless at the time because slave labor was so cheap.

The only reason why some empires f.e. Russia did exist so long (and keeps existing BTW).

I think they pulled IPv6 support awhile back. All my Pertino devices are IPv4. Also, note that I have problems with builds 520+ when installing it on Windows DCs/DNS servers. The DNS records do not dynamically update when Pertino is installed. 510 works OK, though. I have a custom 529 build that support gave me that is basically 510 but enables some more verbose logging so they can find out what is going on.

This is an old article from 2013 being reposted because @scottalanmiller stopped maintaining the original.

Again the user seems to have lost the external monitors.

It seems that it is a permissions issue, thought it should not be. For a test, will add to the local admin and test. Unless there is a different option (sorry, getting rid of the Surface is not an option).

@dafyre I know on one of my Dell machines I did a new driver that seemed to fix the vmq performance issue; on the other I did just completely shut it off.

I'd be less hesitant to leave it enabled if I could trust it to not cause problems.

Need to know anyone is using this feature and how benefit it is ? . Does the exchange share calendar work with rackspace email ? Does the resource mailbox is accessible by rackspace email users ?

They might now, but back when we were using Rackspace Email (which was excellent) it did not, so you had two completely independent pools of users. All that they could do was email each other.

MS is finally making Enterprise look like a more worthwhile upgrade, but damn.. still just more money to spend.

That's the Windows world. Commitment to paying for all the little features. Great stuff, but the cost to "do things the Windows way" gets really expensive. And doing anything else leave you without the benefits of the ecosystem that money is being invested into.

Ah very possible - Yea,.. I have a Samsung for the WiFi Analyzer as well. Wished there was on on the iOS but that is more on Apple than developers. Apple doesn't allow access to the network Stack ( last I heard).

I used to have a great one on iOs until Apple blocked access.

That was infuriating to me. One of the reasons I switched to Android 4 phones ago.

MS stops officially supporting 2013 April of 2018. However has extended service until 2023. Will the Volume License of it still stay active as 0ffice 2013 until 2023?

There may be downgrade rights included with the VL license. They were included from 2013 to 2010 and 2007.

Yes - It does appear that you can downgrade 2016 - but now looking for how.

Downgrade has always been on the shoulders of the end user to acquire media for installation. That said, if you have a VL license, you can download the older media from the VLSC website still.

Sure, when I want to buy/download something I have to make sure I pick the correct account - but we've been doing that on mobile devices for years.

Only you people in the WIndows phone world. I've never done that. Not sure when it would even come up.

LOL - I knew you would pick on that - but no, seriously - on my Android phone I would switch between different amazon accounts back in the day because they didn't allow shared content between account on Amazon services.

FYI - Google and Amazon services don't work well if at all on Phones phone (though Amazon does have an Amazon store app for buying stuff on Windows phone, but not for apps).
