I'm curious, what percentage is sold in first world countries versus the rest of the world.

Yes, very good question. The percentages that I have seen are judged on "units shipped" not the amount of money spent on them. As Lenovo completely dominates the Chinese market, I am assuming that a major percentage of those units are sold there. I am also guessing that at least a fair percentage of their sales are very low cost devices. I know that they make Chromebooks and some entry level stuff even for the US market. They might be selling a fraction of the PCs by cost, even if leading in per unit volume.

    ServerBear from KimSufi.... http://serverbear.com/benchmark/2016/03/20/6pfi28tqnMEb3OZA

That's running on the Hypervisor OS, not in a VM.

@scottalanmiller i dont use it for home extensions also i use the vpn for WAN Connection only.
now i can see that it is network issue as the delay now is "307 ms"
so i will check it and update you if the network issue solved and problem still.

You start to get audio issues with a total latency of 200ms. If you have 307ms on a WAN link, that suggests that you could be seeing way over 600ms on a fall. That would sound awful.

Ours is mostly manual through Sales people and our Ordering/Quoting system due to the nature of our business and people usually need help with it. (It's mostly business to business).

We do have EDI setup for some of our larger consistent customers who are mostly doing "cookie cutter" projects with some minor changes.

How do you connect this to other stuff? I have never user SPF before...

SPF+, SPF only does GigE. The SPF+ port actually takes a tiny adaprter that connects via a little bread board like a tiny PCI slot. The SPF+ unit itself is the physical adapter and it then has the optical or copper port that you plug into. So you need an SPF+ adapter to go into your SPF+ NIC before you can plug something into it. SPF+ supports all kinds of media including RJ45, several types of optical, TwinAx, etc.

@BRRABill I'm using a cloud ide - http://c9.io which has a live view of the code.

    My setup is...

    source control: bitbucket.com
    ide: c9.io
    ci: deploybot.com
    hosting: aws s3 / cloudfront

With a single commit from within c9 new code is pushed out to the s3 bucket and cdn cache invalidated.

I think they pulled IPv6 support awhile back. All my Pertino devices are IPv4. Also, note that I have problems with builds 520+ when installing it on Windows DCs/DNS servers. The DNS records do not dynamically update when Pertino is installed. 510 works OK, though. I have a custom 529 build that support gave me that is basically 510 but enables some more verbose logging so they can find out what is going on.

For Meraki? maybe we were grand fathered into some plan cause we have way more than 100 devices.

I bet you were. They totally did that at a time. I was quoted and verified with Meraki directly--100 devices free and when you go to a paid model you have to pay for those hundred devices as well.

Again the user seems to have lost the external monitors.

It seems that it is a permissions issue, thought it should not be. For a test, will add to the local admin and test. Unless there is a different option (sorry, getting rid of the Surface is not an option).

@Brett Depending on what FFL or DFL you are on, you won't even be able to use GPP to create a user because of the lack of password access in newer versions. I tried and it wouldn't work because I had to have a password per the policy but I couldn't add one per the change in GPP. The workaround was a script that I have for new machines that adds a local account via GPO startup script then adds it to the local administrators group. The new PC stays in a temporary OU for a few things to be installed, then moved to the permanent OU where the remaining items are run, including the installation of LAPS, which then changes the newly-created local admin password.

Here is the bat file that is called in the startup:

net user "My Admin" mypassword /add /passwordreq:yes /fullname:"My Admin"
net localgroup Administrators "My Admin" /add

Do VPN connections get created/torn down with every communication? Or are they persistent until the device disconnects?

Normally neither. They are normally persistent until a certain amount of time, then they tear down when idle. Might be hours or days. That way they don't remain absolutely forever, but normally a very long time.

Controller is up and working well as a client. Easily joined the test network I setup on ZT's site.

Now to figure out how to create my own network.

Did you create a guide to how you achieved this? I've heard it's somewhat difficult. Also, is anyone testing the performance difference between self-hosted and hosted?

I have not setup the controller yet. I had other priorities form noon and beyond today.

It'll be interesting to see. I appreciate all of your effort

@Dashrender As far searched they have full fsmo transfer kind of document i just want to transfer only the three (RID,PDC,infra)

So only do the three that you want. Each one has to be done individually, unless you allow it to be done automatically by uninstalling ADDC from a server (not advised).
