Right, an in WIndows it always does two different things. If you keep using it in places where both do nothing, you can make ANYTHING into "not sensitive". But that logic, nearly every letter on the keyboard does the same thing - nothing. So you just told me that WIndows isn't "key sensitive". See why that makes no sense?

Use bacula/borgbackup/veeam endpoint or just plain remote rsnpshot, plus database-specific tools… and, of course, take a full backup if the VM once in a while for quick disaster recovery, but without all of the fancy incremental-dedupe stuff.

OpenSSH installation is the one thing I always have to do when installation finishes with Ubuntu Servers, so it is always an extra step for me. And I dont like how they are messing with openssh config frequently lately.

Why is your admin station still Windows 7? You can upgrade for free.
Once you upgrade, you'll have the latest version of PowerShell and you won't have these types of issues of compatibility.

We planned for Q2 next year. We just moved into new office space, so we don't want to introduce too much changes.

I'd only update your PC right now. This will let you move forward without affecting your users.

I used robocopy a year or so ago to do just this. There is an option in robocopy that allows robocopy to run as the backup service to copy the data to the new location. This solve any issues I had with my admin account not having access to files on the volume I was moving.

robocopy /b = backup mode (if you don't have permissions, restart the copy of that file using the backup account)

The backup mode parameter worked like a champ. Thanks again for the help.

Seems that every session started for control it has to redownload the application to start IceWeasel. Also, the SC session windows is totally different than under Windows.

That's not a complaint of Korora, but of ScreenConnect. Why did they make it different on Java? No idea.

1.) How many closets?
2.) How many ports per each of those closets
3.) What are your requirements for fabric bandwidth?
4.) How many clients access the pool of how many servers for HA?

I like Juniper and Extreme Networks for mid range applications. You can get refurbished Brocade Fast Iron in the same price range. But based on your feedback I can share some specific models.

My point is that you shouldn't use "cloud" backup as a replacement for onsite backup. And if you do use something like that, it's fine if it slowly archives backups in the background, as your main on-site backups do their thing like normal, and you can restore if needed like normal.

Of course not, we already have Onsite backup and from (Onsite backup) itself I am trying to push the data to Google Cloud (for Offsite purpose).

@JaredBusch since I havent went out to buy a new workstation yet I find myself rather addicted to RDSH (on which I have installed Chrome). Seems like Firefox on Windows = nothing really works as well as Chrome).

I have been looking at doing a Linux Terminal Server but updates are scarce and I am not sure NX (nomachine) could give the low latency performance that RDSH2016 is giving me.
