Can you reassign disks between VMs yet?

The hot add disks was a huge pain before. I couldn't believe I wasn't able to do that.

We removed the domain completely.

So now you're what - trying to use a 2019 SMB file share or something?

We removed AD. It turned out that it had been installed without evaluation and was serving no real purpose, but was posing a significant risk.

Not every time, but a few times.

So we did an older restore and the issue was resolved. This error was caused by ransomware.

They just bought LogRhythm, where I worked, this summer, and then did layoffs. I left as it wrecked the culture. I'm now at Ping Identity which is safely post-acquisition 🙂

Their immediate support response and the lack of useful documentation on how to actually use the product.

I wasn't/aren't. I went to their website, opened the support chat and asked the most basic question "is there a way to identify what host is master, is it with an asterisk" and they said "Are you a paying customer" to which I said "no" to which they said "have the paying customer call or email support"
