Their immediate support response and the lack of useful documentation on how to actually use the product.

I wasn't/aren't. I went to their website, opened the support chat and asked the most basic question "is there a way to identify what host is master, is it with an asterisk" and they said "Are you a paying customer" to which I said "no" to which they said "have the paying customer call or email support"
I see. Well that's pretty normal. I assume that this means that their product keeps running even when out of support.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay an employee to deal with random non paying people wanting support. THat's expensive.
What do you expect from a level 1 chat person anyway?
