I've been eyeing Grav for a while. It does look very interesting. ANy guesses as to pros and cons vs. WordPress? Beyond the obvious flat file vs database differences...

You can automate backups of the MariaDB, though. Not all that much different. Lighter, on big loads. GIT is actually a very heavy process. Great for tiny things, but bad for big ones.

@manxam so much longer, though. I had checked that out, but find the other to be better.

However if you are writing a script to fill out a form, I can see this being handier.

Right, bypassing Windows can be an option, but it's a crappy one. But I got it working directly on Windows, so no need for a heavy VM for one app.

Thunderbird does this very well. Its whats I used for my private email accounts.

Me too. I don't use it day to day, but when I have a search problem, I fire it up.

it relies on DNS (or hosts files) to resolve itself and generate SSL certs, this has to work before you install the engine. If it did work, and you still get this error, this is a bug

That should not matter. If the config is old and does not have the setting specified at all, it should go to the default value.

From the ISE, load the script and then enter-pssession for each system. Once connected, run the script from the ise. Sorted.

And not use Microsoft? We did everything we were supposed to do, Microsoft messed it up. Short of not using anything that depends on Windows, what's the solution? Right now Insight and Microsoft are still going back and forth blaming each other.

Unfortunately, not using Windows isn't something we control. But without being able to control that, having a reliable product isn't always something IT determines.
