Do the PCs show the same time as the Domain Controllers? If they're more than 5 or 10 minutes off, the DC won't allow anyone to log in.

Yes they did. I fixed the time sync issue I had.

Yep, implemented the same, for a majority of our clients... it's quick n easy to deploy, and manage .. This, along with Thin-clients, has been a winning combo for us .. . works like a charm every time ..

Going a bit off-topic - Earlier, this year , we were contacted by a vendor, pushing these really really dirt cheap China-made thin-clients (They go by the name Thnder-X) ... So, for $18 a pop (only if you buy a minimum of 50 Units), it offers : -

      Arm Cortex 1.8ghz CPU
      1GB RAM
      512MB on-board Flash
      100/1000 Network Port
      3 USB ports (2xUSB 2.0, 1x USB 3)
1 HDMI Port + 1 VGA Port support upto 1920x1080 / 32 bit colour depth / Dual Display
      Audio Port.
      7.5W Power consumption
      Windows CE

We were rather skeptical at first, so the vendor gave us a unit to demo ... We're using it on a daily basis for around a month.. Worked well for most basic office tasks (Documents, Spreadsheets, Emails, Browsing, Accounting etc) ... Videos didn't do too well, but still, not as bad as we were expecting ..

The only catch is that it comes with a 6 month replacement warranty...

We bought around 10 units, and gifted 4 to a client ... at $18/unit, I don't mind gifting these to 20 MangoLassi users ... you pay for your own shipping ... hehehe

Anyway, the client has been using these in a production environment (on the above setup), for over 6 months, and they've been pretty happy with it, so far ..

I'd lean towards application trapping the print screen key the way green shot does. I think you're right.

Yes - our 'best guess' is that there is some third party software needed. And since this is a state agency - they have limitations as to what can be used or installed.

My message was (at the time of this post) and still is zero size.

Really? XenServer must do things much differently than I'm used to in Linux. Try what @Danp said and look in xensource.log then.

I just went and looked, XenServer doesn't use rsyslog by default, yuck.

@fuznutz04 said in Centralized password manager:

      @JaredBusch What do you use?

I have been using LastPass since 2007 or so.

The standard $12 subscription lets you share a folder. So I made a
"Company" folder with subfolders for each client. and shared the Company folder out.

For a small consultancy like ours, it works well.

$12 per month, or per year?

Also... how did you handle the LastPass breach?

Per year, and I changed my password. Nothing else needed. I do not have 2FA enabled because I feel getting a text or something to the same damned device I am logging in on defeats the purpose of 2FA. My current LastPass password is a phrase about 30 characters long or so. I have lastpass set to log out automatically when my browsers close, etc.

      You can use google authenticator.

That's what I use. I do have it turned off for my phone tho, no point in having the device you get the code from require a code. Don't really use the phone version except to lookup passwords when I'm away from one of my normal computers/browsers.
