Minecraft. It isn't powerful enough to run Minecraft.

Seems like if XS is producing 20% faster results than ESXi that having it in a cluster would be similar. The storage does not change how the hypervisor works.

Hey guys, the feeling was that this one had run its course and it seems that relevant info has been provided. We are going to lock this at least until the main mods have time to review.

Okay, done. Set to two for now. Let's see what gets created. If it isn't a problem, we'll just leave it.

    YES YES YES DO IT

Do it and film the process so I can learn from it.

I have an incredible number of electronic widgets that would be MOAR awesome under liquid cooling.

What options do I have? Just a simply 2 host setup. No SAN.

Like @SAM mentioned StarWind two-node setup is free. You can use Hyper-V as a basic OS inside VM to make it 200% free.

For hyper converged offering please kick me PM as we're working on a special offering for MangoLassi people.

Going to have to go with a general Comcast issue. I have rebooted everything and issues persist on more than my desktop.

Notice that there is a $500 coupon. So it is $1,100, not $1,600.

    The $500 coupon cost $475

Exactly. It is $1624 to buy it, or $25 off a $500 coupon / credit.

Handbrake used to be pretty popular haven't use it in years though

That was the other one I have used,.. just could not remember what it was.

I haven't had the need to compress a DVD in so long that I've misplaced and forgotten the tools. My only other 'task' is to shrink down for use on a tablet.. but I'm on that road....

Just installed the sync tool on my windows as well and it's not heavy plus the sync settings i mentioned on my MAC, automatically worked on windows too (sync specific folders & files). Not sure if ODFB works the same way, but for me one of the reasons we are thinking between O365 SP onlive vs box and leaning towards box is the sync tools for all platforms, (When i tried preview of ODFB on our MAC, it crashed both on Yosemite and El Captian), plus of course the unlimited storage.

Does this mean the name Xen is finally dead? can we stop worrying about it? Xen = XenServer and XenServer = Xen?

Nope, nothing of the sort. XenServer and Xen remain identical to what they have always been year after year. XenServer is a Xen distribution. That is never going to change. Xen is the hypervisor, XenServer is the distro.

Just like CentOS and Linux will always remain separate things. CentOS is an OS built on Linux, Linux is the kernel.

From a consumer perspective, yes the UI is a major factor.. in fact, I'd go so far as to call it the only factor. Another factor might be compatibility with previous versions, but then again, maybe not.

Okay but is consumer perspective relevant? If so, there is no point in even knowing the product. By that perspective many people in the 2000s actually thought that Linux was the new version of Windows and that LibreOffice was the upgrade to MS Office 2003.

I'd argue that being "easily fooled by unrelated things" does not make the opinion applicable. I understand that people who know nothing about the product only care about things they see and that they are easily fooled. But by that logic, fake Coach handbags ARE Coach handbags rather than knockoffs.

    LOL Touche!

    Even if you could:

Get it to run in Outlook and Get it past the other company's filters and Not get your company blocked from sending them emails....

    Then you would still face...

OWA won't run VBScript Most Outlook will not run VBScript No non-MS system will run VBScript

and brings us right back to

    @JaredBusch said:

That is easy. The answer is you cannot and it was a colossal waste of money on your company's part to even try.
