I've decided to go with LAPS as this is part of an overall 'let's tighten up security' project I've got going and my thoughts were, you can't go wrong if you go with the Vendor's recommendation.

I'm distributing the LAPS client software via Startup GPO which is working well ATM. Half way through the setup, but have stopped coz the weekend started.

I'll take a look at Salt as I need to broaden my horizons.

Fyi, to deploy to clients you just need to copy the dll and register it with regsvr32. But good thing you're not trying to deploy it with GP's software installation features.

I get around these problems by using Startup & Shutdown scripts. I create a simple bat file that copies the required files to the local %systemroot%, then I install whatever it is that needs installing. This seems to work well for me.

Well I dug out an old Centrino Duo 2 with 3GB or RAM and it upgraded fine from W7 Pro to W10 Pro and the upgrade was slow but pain free.

Thanks. Unfortunately, a camera kit is out of the question for us right now thus the pursuit of a lens kit for my iPhone X which takes half decent pics ... just a crappy camera app that is nowhere near as good as the Microsoft one was.

My wife's birthday presents for the last three years has been garden roses along with two rose gardens one two years ago and one this year. I love roses. My mother had an amazing rose garden when I was growing up and I have lasting memories of them.

Just for anyone else who may ask the same question - I came across an open source program, Avidemux, simple to use and understand & free.

What solution are you using? They all most certainly do not do that.

i've been setting up ipads that have been in use, to become supervised using apple configurator 2. The erase stage is part of making the ipad supervised.

Had to do this so I could enroll them in apple school manager.

Yeah setting up things with configurator is a totally different beast.

i wanted an easier way to copy files to multiple folders and have the folder hierarchy duplicated within parent folders, in other words I wanted to see more stuff in more places all at once.

Q-Dir works pretty well and it seems to work accurately with Onedrive which is a bonus, not all of them do, actually Q-Dir is the only one I've found that can display Onedrive statuses or statii for files and folders.

I like to know if any other alternatives have the Onedrive status functionality.

I've used this in the past. Works well, and much cheaper than $8.
