Okay, we got it figured out. Works well, but is not intuitive.
You go to "New Conversation" and then you have to just make a new for a new conversation. Only then can you add people to it. Totally works, just.... why would you ever think to do that?
I went to MicroCenter tonight and was looking at laptops. I had a salesperson ask what I was looking for. I got a strange look when I said I wanted W10 Home cause it would get wiped anyway. I don't think she thought I was serious.
Yeah it's obviously bad to treat it like a LAN but if you stop using tools just because it can be treated that way you are sometimes stopping yourself from doing some really interesting and helpful things.
Yes, LAN-like tools are only LAN-like if you treat them in that fashion. The behaviour is rarely intrinsic.
I noticed that the defualt CentOS 7 image was pretty much fully up to date before I ran the install script. Only thing that came down when I ran yum update -y was wget.
Yeah, it is more of a "just in case" something is out of date. I almost never see it not fully up to date when I fire it up.
