Did the piping example I posted above satisfy your switch requirement even though it isn't a switch?

Or maybe you're looking for something else?

Was busy dealing with the firmware update itself.
Yes. That works simply enough. Still annoyed that they don't have a switch..

Exported, cleaned up references to mongo and all better. No Mongo.

Export the database (this uses the running database, so I had to have Mongo fixed)

      cd /opt/meshcentral node node_modules/meshcentral --dbexport"

Go in the config file and remove the "mongodb" line(s) in settings

      nano /opt/meshcentral/meshcentral-data/config.json

      Restart meshcentral

      systemctl restart meshcentral # or /opt/meshcentral/mcstop /opt/meshcentral/mcstart

      Import the database

      cd /opt/meshcentral node node_modules/meshcentral --dbimport"

      Restart meshcentral

      systemctl restart meshcentral # or /opt/meshcentral/mcstop /opt/meshcentral/mcstart

So thanks to @MontesVitalPBX we now know that the commercial addons cost 25% of purchase price for yearly maintenance.

This will let us begin to calculate the real costs of using VitalPBX.

Wow, that's not bad at all. So much cheaper than I would assume most people assume and way cheaper than I was expecting. That should be on the site because that's really good info!

Well it will be. See the other thread.

It is a fair price. It is totally acceptable. My objection was always because it was hidden.

Been chilling all weekend so not even close to caught up yet 🙂

The benefit (to me) of setting this up like this means that your inbound routing is all just 10 digit numbers.

Don't forget to set your Codec to G722.

      But always offer G711 🙂

We do our best to deliver calls over G722 and follow your preferred priority (based on what you put in your SIP), but when we can't get the call delivered over G722, we fall back to G711.

It's not about sensitive. Accounting departments can be incredibly cranky about things being negative and not "due". Negative usually means past due, and can get people up in arms.

Normally the system is pay ahead only, that he was able to port with no money on the account is odd. It is, under normal circumstances (and this is pretty standard for trunk providers for many reasons) standard to only allow you to pay ahead and send a notice when you are getting low on funds so that you can "top up", either manually or automatically. Under normal conditions here, I wouldn't expect a possibility of being in the negative.

This is true - our LNP team should not have ported the number without first reaching out to him about having a $0 balance. We made a mistake and we're going to be making sure to clarify that with our team 🙂

I intentionally didn't add funds to a new account I setup (but it does have a valid CC linked) and inititated a port request.

New process FTW. Good work @Skyetel

OK peoples. I got this working both ways: LAN > ZT and ZT > LAN. The trick was to configure a source NAT, which you can only do via the command line. Along with destination NAT, a bidirectional NAT is setup. BOOM! Here's my config:

      firewall { all-ping enable broadcast-ping disable group { network-group LAN { description "Switch LAN" network 192.168.50.0/24 } network-group Upstream { description "Upstream Network" network 10.1.1.0/24 } network-group ZeroTier { description "ZeroTier Network" network 10.147.20.0/24 } } ipv6-receive-redirects disable ipv6-src-route disable ip-src-route disable log-martians enable receive-redirects disable send-redirects enable source-validation disable syn-cookies enable } interfaces { ethernet eth0 { address 10.1.1.10/24 description "Local Upstream" duplex auto speed auto } ethernet eth1 { description Local duplex auto speed auto } ethernet eth2 { description Local duplex auto speed auto } ethernet eth3 { description Local duplex auto speed auto } ethernet eth4 { description Local duplex auto poe { output off } speed auto } loopback lo { } switch switch0 { address 192.168.50.1/24 description Local mtu 1500 switch-port { interface eth1 { } interface eth2 { } interface eth3 { } vlan-aware disable } } zerotier ztklh3kllj { description ZeroTier } } protocols { static { route 0.0.0.0/0 { next-hop 10.1.1.1 { description "Default Gateway" } } } } service { dhcp-server { disabled false hostfile-update disable shared-network-name LAN2 { authoritative enable subnet 192.168.50.0/24 { default-router 192.168.50.1 dns-server 192.168.50.1 lease 86400 start 192.168.50.38 { stop 192.168.50.243 } } } static-arp disable use-dnsmasq disable } dns { forwarding { cache-size 150 listen-on switch0 name-server 10.1.1.1 } } gui { http-port 80 https-port 443 older-ciphers enable } nat { rule 1 { description "ZeroTier DNAT" destination { group { network-group ZeroTier } } inbound-interface ztklh3kllj inside-address { address 10.1.1.10 } log disable protocol all type destination } rule 5000 { description "ZeroTier SNAT" log disable outbound-interface ztklh3kllj outside-address { address 10.147.20.1 } protocol all source { group { network-group Upstream } } type source } } ssh { port 22 protocol-version v2 } unms { disable } }
