I would love to tell you but they hide it.
There are zero locations on their website that tell you what recurring maintenance costs are for all those things you buy for a "one-time payment" with only one year of updates.

So thanks to @MontesVitalPBX we now know that the commercial addons cost 25% of purchase price for yearly maintenance.
This will let us begin to calculate the real costs of using VitalPBX.

It's a yearly payment because you will want the updates
Sangoma pulls this same scheme for some of the commercial modules. I don’t even mind a recurring payment. I know things cost money to maintain updates for.
I dislike it hidden.
If you poke around enough you can find the yearly updates on Sangoma’s portal.
As noted, VitalPBX is not the only place like this.
Sangoma does it for some of the commercial modules such as Endpoint Manager.
FOP2 does it also.
Both of them are a bit quiet about the renewal costs.

Wow, that's not bad at all. So much cheaper than I would assume most people assume and way cheaper than I was expecting. That should be on the site because that's really good info!

It is a fair price. It is totally acceptable. My objection was always because it was hidden.
