Been using Mint for the last few days, and I actually LOVE it!

I used Ubuntu for a while, but man Linux Mint is just easier and more streamlined...

it's really great. I've been on it for nearly a year and what a difference it makes.

What the heck is included in a 4GB hacking ISO!

@JulianJulian Thanks mate! I just downloaded the agent. I'll let you guys know how it works.

I also downloaded the agent to one of my Linux systems. It was very quick and simple.

The cloud interface picked up the installed agent imediately and I was able to manage it right there.

There are different groups that you can place each agent for different rules.

Definitely worth testing. Up to 5 servers for free!

Last system I checked LVM and mapper were equal symlinks pointing to the same thing. I checked it because I was documenting on CentOS.

Still interesting. Device mapper is just that, a mapper pointing to LVM (and LUKS) devices for example. So your mapper and LVM are both pointing to something "physical" like md devices or sd*?

Both pointing to the dm device, which is another layer of mapping.

Testing this and just had my first case of it totally crashing out on me. Just stopped getting messages but stayed open without any indication that something was wrong. Had to reboot as it could not be shut down.

The Linux system gets the use 99% of the time and needs priority as to performance and what not. The Windows install is just for gaming and is not even my main gaming machine. Just a secondary one. And I've lived with zero Windows access for most of a year, not a big deal.
