I think that this decision has to come down to... is this a career change that you want? If this is what you WANT to do, then it is a huge opportunity to build your resume and experience. If this is not something that you want, this could suck big time. it's more about you and your goals than about career options.

How accurate is it?

We used it when I worked at the local high school. It was 90-99% accurate depending on how well the students could enunciate. Although it still did really well with people who tended to mumble.

But $5 a month is $60 a year. Which is 2.5 times the $12 x 2 price for LastPass for my wife and myself..

$5 covers upto 5 members, and each member can install the app on any number of devices. Each user gets their own password vault too.
And you can invite as many family members as you need for an additional $1 per person/month.

If you dont want to go with a subscription based pricing model, you can also choose the one time fee standalone version which is what i've been using for several years.

If you don't check the option drill down from parent collection, your filters apply to all your computers. That's why computers without java get marked with your checking java version filter.

Since their is no nesting inside collections filters, you would need to have a top level dynamic collection checking which computers have the software installed and then have another dynamic collection with the option to drill down from parent collection that checks for your specified version of the software.

If you have to go over one page, definitely work to keep the text tight but do as CB says and spread it out. Make it as short as possible, then expand to fill pages with good white spacing.

I upgraded an entire office of 11 computers remotely. You can certainly do it.

My process:

Make sure mahcines are up to date with Windows Updates Setup ScreenConnect access session Disable permission request for the access session groups Download the current upgrade version from the Media Creation tool to an ISO file Save ISO on a network share Backup users with Veeam Endpoint Backup to a NAS just in case Open ISO over the network share (or copy local both work, your choice) Run setup.exe follow the prompts, tell it not to check for updates, keep all files It will eventually go offline in ScreenConnect but once it finishes and comes back to the point where you can choose express settings, ScreenConnect will come online. Complete upgrade Profit

I shouldn't have any issues using VNC (It is on our network) then.

If the NC service properly loads, then yes, you should not have any problems.

I first tested this while I had physical access just in case...

Worst case scenario I can walk next door.

Except the DEA/Coast Guard/whomever showed up to harass them. Hope nobody got arrested because of overzealous "law enforcement".

I bet they called the coast guard. There was a local guy around here that caught 20lb bail of it from the beach. He left and got away with until he posted it on Facebook lol.

Well, both of those are painfully stupid things to do. None of those folks are smart enough to start smoking the weeds.

My DARE teacher told us that one puff of marijuana could kill you. She was a police officer and actually told that to our 6th grade class. That is why programs like that never work haha.

D.A.R.E. was like scared straight for little kids. I just realized this.

I think the idea that drugs were cool was produced by how dorky D.A.R.E. was.

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (original) they had an arcade machine that all of the bad guys were playing on that was a DARE arcade game.

Speaking of that. It is funny that you mention whiskey. My son had bad toothaches and we tried all the baby crap on the market for toothpain. Some older people suggested we try putting whiskey on his gums. That worked so well, I wish we would have tried it months before we did.

That is what my grandmother did to us.

Whatever works, right?

Edit: I wonder if this works for adults with problem teeth.

Yeah. I actually deleted some really old shortcut GPOs that are about a year old while I was in there. I can probably safely remove this after a month.
