I still remember my dad trying to convince my mom that the boat, motor, moorage, gas, rods, tackle, etc was still cheaper than buying salmon. Good memories haha

Yeah you will never pay for your fishing gear with fish unless you use cane poles and are actually fishing to eat. That is one of the reasons that you do not need a license if fishing with a cane pole in florida.

There isn't alot of things I remember about 6th grade, but I remember the entire DARE week because that dumb cop told us so much BS it was unbelievable. Even my teacher was in shock at what she was telling us. She told us marijuana could kill you and cause you to have a heart attack if you try it once. So you should never try it at all. She also told us that alcohol is so addictive that many people cannot stop after their first drink and become alcoholics and homeless from having one drink.
You don't even want to know what she said about actual street drugs...lol

Now it's more about bullying and making good decisions.

I agree with you there. I am unsure how I will handle drugs with my children, but I sure as hell wont lie to them and tell them it is going to kill them if they touch it.
