No working now
Too bad (did I just say that out loud?)
If any of it is built with a Windows OS, we have nothing to worry about. It will be too busy installing patches to take over the world.
If you need to call yourself an IT Pro, then you are not an IT Pro.
So, I have been working on a migration from 1 cloud service to another and I asked if we are ready to go for this weekend. Here's what I got from the tech: "Weekend go-lives need to be scheduled in advanced and approved ahead of time and at this point it doesnt even sound like the infrastructure is in place so this weekend is not very likely."
The infrastructure isn't in place? Fine...even though when we discussed this I said the first week of December or the 2nd would be a good time to do it and the tech said "this sounds totally doable".
What I'm ranting about is since we started this little journey back in October, I have said over and over that this is happening on a weekend. I may be able to give them an afternoon on Friday, but that's it. Don't come telling me it has to be scheduled and whatnot when I have been saying this in EVERY conversation that it will.
OK rant over even though I'm still mad at that little nugget.
@Minion-Queen I put a link to the jobs that are available in Japan. We are based in Fukouka, but that doesn't mean you'll stay there
If anyone wants to make a huge jump to another country, we are growing fast there.

News flash...Stalking is not considered "fun"
Hey, guys!!! @JessWaterfordTech recommended me to this place, so here I am. At another site, I am Jeff6586. I figured I would change it up a bit
Dude, it's a forum. It's not his full time job to make sure there is a 1 call resolution. We do what we can in the time allotted for this.

Everything working fine today, then this:
"I am running some issues with my outlook these two days.
It is hardly connected to the server, thus stop downloading emails to my outlook.
I am currently physically in China. Could you help look at what is going on?"
Ugh! Hate these e-mails!!

What's even better about this? It came in.....via e-mail.
Speaking of bridges, the worst one I have ever seen was this baby:

I almost went into the water because a pothole practically sent me airborne.
Not sure if that's an infrastructure thing or just a really hot fire thing.
Russian hysteria must come in 30 year cycles.

Saw this little gem today:
Never was a big fan of Thunderbirds, but OK. The real unusual thing about it was we are expecting 12" of snow today and he is driving THAT thing in it?
My grandfather drove one of those for years. It was canary yellow.
Really? That's cool!!
Hopefully he didn't park it like this guy did in the picture! (I noticed it while I was typing my response LOL.)
No clue all we have are pictures of it, he sold it before my mother was born. He had bought it brand new and took care of it like it was his baby.
My father wasn't too much of a car guy, but his dream car (truck) was the Little Red Express.
Little known fact: This truck was the fastest production vehicle you could buy in 1978

So.... yes then?
Not at all trendy, but English isn't this guy's first language.

Me too!!! Good to see some other folks with such dusty certs.
Dusty old certs. I had a bunch of certs for Netware back in the day.
Ahhhh...my dusty Netware 5 cert. I have that somewhere.
