Obvious you know better. But having a green will make someone assume to choose that one.

And that's a regular complaint that I have always had about it. But that "installing by accident" doesn't apply to IRJ, or really anyone here. Random users, sure.

The older ubiquiti APs can do a mesh setup. I did a bridge between two of them one time a long time ago. It worked ok.

I did this between homes for 2 years, worked well enough.

You could just modify the bluetooth.service to have this :

      [Unit] ... `After=suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target` ... [Install] WantedBy=suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target

      What file are you using?

This is what I found /etc/systemd/system/bluetooth.taget.wants/bluetooth.service

My view is for the UK. With social media and online services, even internet banking etc, all our data is out there and how it's used we have no control. I wouldn't be surprised if they all feed into GCHQ anyway.

Anyway of using Systemd to restart bluetooth service after sleep?

Yeah, actually. I stumbled across this a few mins ago. The guy in this post uses Systemd to restart Wireguard. The key is WantedBy line is probably the important bits.

      Description=Run restart_wireguard Requires=network.target After=network.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target [Service] User=root Type=oneshot ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/restart_bluetooth.sh #or the command if you know it. [Install] WantedBy=suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target

A lot of the world are still driven by lots of low paid task worker jobs that are relatively speaking easy to replace.

Fun fact - that's the town in Colorado where I live. Guess we'll be getting fewer potholes fixed this winter.

Ha I didn't read the full location because I just assumed it was Erie, PA which is like 2 hours north of me.

Our town motto is "the other Erie" 🙂

      https://thenicholson.com/thinking-taking-offer-need-know/

Here is my 50+ point list of Questions and compensation related issues.

Some stuff is straight forward: but start with immortal words of Wutang Finance.
      CASH
      RULES
      EVERYTHING
      AROUND
      ME
      EXCEPT
      WHEN
      OTHER
      ASSET
      CLASSES
      PROVIDE
      HIGHER
      RISK
      ADJUSTED
      YIELDS

What I mean by this is cash is 100% solid comp, but other benefits (RSUs, 401K match, ESPP ) should be adjusted and factored in.

      Some stuff is situational:
Support for “In plan post tax 401K to Roth” conversions may not strike your fancy, but I’m going to dodge a boat load of taxes over the years using this ”One trick several senators hate!”.

Depends what you want. ANSYS works well, is stupid expensive, and runs on Linux. But not sure how much CFD, acoustic, thermal, and mechanical engineering you're doing.

Most of the major CAD and/or CFD applications are available on Linux. Back in the 90s I got to deal with running them on IRIX and OpenVMS. Got into the window when everyone started switching to Windows as well (Pentium III era).

Seems to only appear in Debian/Ubuntu systems.

Let me get some clarification - is systemname meant as a variable - i.e. you put in the real system name OR are you literally supposed to put '127.0.0.1 systemname' ?

      Actual host name

awww.. ok, then my question wasn't really needed...
      Thanks! Misunderstanding on my part.
