@RojoLoco Our might be similar. We subscribed for HIS development so we could interface with the mainframes that other agencies still run (yuck). Though maybe we'll get lucky. It looks like SQL 2005 is ~$100 on eBay at a quick glance. I'm not sure my boss will want to put $1 into this old DB, but we'll see!

Ah very possible - Yea,.. I have a Samsung for the WiFi Analyzer as well. Wished there was on on the iOS but that is more on Apple than developers. Apple doesn't allow access to the network Stack ( last I heard).

I used to have a great one on iOs until Apple blocked access.

That was infuriating to me. One of the reasons I switched to Android 4 phones ago.

Specifically this was the boot camp 6 update for Windows 10.

Since adding that .exe to the exception list, no crash.

So apparently this a service a lot of people use? I've found a few different places that sell them.

Seedboxes and private trackers are nothing new.

They are not in mainstream media because it is too complicated for the news cycle.

We do this for my family. The really nice features are that we can do family to family calling at zero cost and never hit the PSTN at all. Leaving a connection open full time is no problem whatsoever. And you can video chat very easily, too.

Downsides is no one wants to deal with an extra thing to make calls on. Even for free.

That's a standard systemctl cannot start message. And it is just telling you that you need to tail /var/log/messages to see what the error was.

If you are trying to update the firmware on the raid card my best suggestion would be to do it through the lifecycle controller. Reboot the server and during post after the Dell splash screen in the top right corner you will see some option via key commands. Hit F10 to boot to system services. Once you've entered the system services/lifecycle controller environment you should be in the gui with a list of options on the left. Choose platform update, follow the on screen instructions to update the firmware for all the components you want, specifically the raid card. I haven't heard of drives being blocked before and I don't know the specifics of the drives you bought, but any we sell should be compatible with what I am assuming is and H-Series raid card you should have in your system.

    Good news!

I got it working. My boss changed the name of the SMTP service to HOLDSMTP then when he changed it back it broke the patch. I pulled my from my backup then reinstalled the patch and everything is working.

    Gotta love mangle-ment related PEBKAC!

Glad to hear you're back in business.

Yeah... that's how they used to do all of it. Maybe they still do. That would make stats on a tech forum totally wrong as IT people don't have toolbars installed, normally.

Well where the heck are all those visits coming from, then??

I've heard that you can use the Android Studio to do this, but I haven't had time to test it at home, and at work, it doesn't work because I run Hyper-V, lol.

    Hey Joel,

Have you considered a USB over IP type product? I've just been made aware of them and haven't had a chance to use one yet... but basically it is a USB connection with a Network card, and whatever server you want to use it has to run a software package to do so...

It's worth taking a look at.

Interesting product. What a great idea.
