Is Remmina ceashing when RDP to older servers like Server 2008 R2? That’s the only server giving me issues with Remmina. Try freerdp or rdesktop through command line and see if you have a better experience.
Does the installer allow for video? Any benefit over the web page?
Seems to - though I've not had any calls to test it.... if you wish,. call away to test. But it did pick up the Jabra Headset and the Logictech Camera.
I didn't get the error when looking at the list of agents today. Looks like the update or reboot of the Wazuh server fixed it.
I know this is a necropost, but it's good to mention that mismatched version of manager and agent will almost always cause issues. It is recommended to comment out the repository until you are ready to update agents and manager at the same time.
That is interesting. I have been upgrading some of the agents on Linux systems when they are released, and later, upgrading the server side (I comment out/disable the repos for the server side, per their docs).
@dafyre I didn't ever get back to needing this until now. How were you able to achieve this? I use Fedora 28 and the Cinnamon desktop.
Sadly, no, I haven't. From what I can tell, Fedora 28 (probably 29 too) use Wayland by default. I haven't found a way to get it working yet. I tried switching the Login Screen to use X first, but even that didn't help.
Have you tried disabling Wayland instead?
I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to do a fresh install and see how that's done, unless there's a working VNC Server package in Fedora 29...
Just edit /etc/gdm/custom.conf and uncomment WaylandEnable=false and then restart. You will have only two options GNOME and GNOME Classic.
That gets me one step closer. I can get XRDP to connect to the local VNC server, but the user has to log in (locally) first... :face_with_cold_sweat:
No, definitely not isolated to Fedora. It's any distro, or any that are set up, in a way that PS doesn't like in terms of the xterm environmental. So most, I would assume, are affected, but all have a fix. It's a PS bug, and decently easy to work around.
