Depends how you're getting to NC. If you go down 79 in PA then you will be going past me.
And if down 95 (which I assume you won't be) you are near me.

Hey, you'll be driving kinda past me if you take that route!

A couple notes for road tripping from a former truck driver. Pilot stations have the best bathrooms (actual walls between stalls), and Petro stations are generally the largest, nicest, everything in one stop places. Also, Petro2 sucks.
-
If you've never done a Sheetz you may want to stop for a quick snack. Decent food at a decent price.

And Sheetz has the best food. And Buck-ees is the most... um, ridiculous. But has great bathrooms.

Might cross each other on the way back as we will be heading out for our family epic road adventure on the 26th to Roanoke VA

We love Sheetze. Even me with my long list of food allergies can find things to eat there.

@Minion-Queen depends on what day you're going to St. Louis on the way home I may be available

Buck-ees? Haven't heard of that one, but it's been a long time since I was on the road, and it was always in a semi, so I couldn't get to a lot of the more interesting places.

Pretty big in Texas. They have the biggest petrol stations in the state. They get downright enormous. Like, I'm guessing, more than fifty pumps. Smaller ones easily have thirty or more stalls in a restroom!

Well, 50 pumps isn't outrageous for a truck stop. But the size of the restrooms, geesh. The only larger restrooms I remember were 2 story affairs.

I hate it when people have affairs in the rest rooms.

TUNES!!!!
If you take I70 through CO then you get to see some pretty country. You'll be driving right past @Grey and not far from me and @Nic.
As for tunes, I prefer books or talks to just music. It engages my brain and helps me stay awake.
-
If you took 80 instead of 70 you'd drive right past me in Omaha, Ne.
-
@Dashrender That might be doable....

We are musicians so music is ALWAYS a part of everything around here. A husband without a guitar or drum set to play for 2 weeks will be a antsy guy
