That's not how that works.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronavirus_disease_2019#Terminology
The World Health Organization announced on 11 February 2020 that "COVID-19" would be the official name of the disease. World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said "co" stands for "corona", "vi" for "virus" and "d" for "disease", while "19" was for the year, as the outbreak was first identified on 31 December 2019. Tedros said the name had been chosen to avoid references to a specific geographical location (i.e. China), animal species, or group of people in line with international recommendations for naming aimed at preventing stigmatisation.

Well that clearly hasn't prevented our Commander in queef from stigmatizing this event.

Back from shopping in one of the largest wholesale markets in the area

@thwr that's not really surprising, people are in a hoarding phase, they don't want to go out repeatedly so they buy in bulk once for everything they could need.

Sure, but it's stupid in 90% of all cases.

Absolutely, people who purchase 6 packs of toilet paper for example. Who the hell needs so much TP
-
Most supermarkets have ran out of Toliet roll, Meat, Bread and milk. Most shelves are empty due to people panic buying. These people are so selfish.
-
What's out here is mostly toilet paper, disinfectant sprays and liquids, puréed tomatoes in cans, noodles, flour and formula milk. I've seen people buying 30kg flour - and most of them looked like they didn't even know how to make a bread
-
Still setting up laptops so people can work from home

Our Office just switched to Remote Work except for patch day. So naturally, I'm at work today, lol... Just got lunch after a long ass meeting.

Waiting for us to do that.
We will not be doing that. -
Have been told 4 times today on cold calls : "It's not the right business move to open up for takeout only at a dine in, bar and grill. it's just not even worth the hassle for you or us. We'll just close for 6 weeks min. and hope for the best. appreciate what you're trying to do."
There's literally nothing I can say to that except : Well, if your boss changes their mind and you're interested. let me know, At the very least take a look at what they are offering , maybe you can save the server who is also a single parent.. from worrying about what her kids going to eat during this time.. -
