Woke up early, have an all day meeting so leaving soon for that.
So another quiet day here in ML land.
Huawei switches are weird. The link lights are backwards and the GUI is converted from chinese to english instead of just being english. The menu's are sometimes interactive (clicking ports to configure them as an example) and sometimes not. They randomly capitalize some of the cli commands and it's case sensitive. Just weird.
You like the Chinese in your network? Because that's how you get the Chinese into your network.
WTF? You do realize where almost everything on your desk (and probably your desk) was manufactured right?
Being produced and being actively developed with the Chinese government are 2 different things. Huawei actively develops their products with the Chinese universities and science sectors, which are heavily controlled by the Chinese government.
Yes, because they want to sell their shit in China. Do you think that US company's do not work with the US government to get their shit certified so they can sell it to them?
Being patented/certified is completely different than developing with the government.

Pro tip: after a dentist visit, if your mouth is still numb it will be difficult to drink a shot. Half will go on your face.

This is the type of experimentation that needs to occur more on ML

10 minutes to install windows 10.
less than 5 minutes total for Office 2016, Slack, Foxit.
45 minutes to install a dozen Office updates, plus the Getting Windows ready bs when you restart. This is so much better than it used to be. -

Found our gecko from last week. While we were gone he migrated from my office to the bathroom. Now he is hunting ants in there.
