@DustinB3403 Bears climb trees really well so best not to think about it and just go for the gusto
@MattSpeller as the resident Canadian has near daily encounters with bears.
Black bears are no big deal, it's the brown ones that poop out pepper scented bells
Actually going to hunt a black bear this weekend - by which I mean we are going fishing and if we see a bear we'll take the opportunity.
Can you eat bear?

Legally or is it edible? People do eat it. Not sure if it is any good.
-
People find the meat to be really grizzly.
-
It's bearly edible.

Discarded carcase? No thanks. Honestly, after 15+ years of no meat, meat doesn't even give the impression of being food. It's just "things often found near food". Seeing it would be similar to seeing the tupperware that food comes in. Sure, you know you often see it in the kitchen near food, but you never think of it as food itself. Nothing about it is appealing in the same way that tupperware isn't appealing. So there is no concept of it looking so appealing that I'd want to eat it. You could have the nicest tupperware ever, but I wouldn't want to bite it.

That's good

If it has eyes it's meat. I know the difference obviously, but killing it to eat it equates to meat, just a different version.
And yes I know the traditional definition of vegetarian.

Just finished cabling and identifying "new" patch panel in my office / room (which is the old patch panel but now put into a more user-friendly position).

We've been slowly repatching the house here. Someone removed it all for some reason.

Who? Why? Rats?
