Do the AMD CPUs work OK or do you get weird buggy things happening with them every now and then??

AMD works great. No issues with them at all in my experience. Genuine AMD is my first choice these days. Use it for my main workstations, and the new one for the kids. We buy them probably around 30% of the time overall now.
