Most of those things, like Java for an HP ILO, can be isolated to networks that are not on the Internet or are highly protected. They don't need to be on general use machines.

Fujitsu's own numbers suggest that the upgrade (which I checked, would quadruple the cores) would be expected to result in a 10 fold increase in petaflops.... from 10 to 100!! It could "easily" be three times the performance of the top ranked Tianhe-2.

It does mention it as a 'jet,' however it is a ducted fan.

However jet can mean a number of different things, a slab of steal can be cut with a water jet.

Sure those other 'jets' are fine because there is context. In this context though, these planes aren't 'jets,' they are ducted fan planes.

I wonder what the sound differences are between these vs jets vs turbo props, etc?

iCloud Drive will start to look and act more like a mounted drive from a PC so will give a much more familiar file browsing experience.

I'm trying to decide if this is a good or bad thing.... I haven't used cloud storage enough to get 'used' to it one way or the other.

That's how bad it is now, no one uses it currently because it is useless.

How long does this go back? If it goes back very far this could be the 3 time I've had my accounts and social stolen in the past 2.5 years.

Oh, I've heard of Power, just wasn't aware they were still making it. Thanks.

IBM i Series, P Series and mainframes are still around. Anything running AIX, System i, System z, etc. are on Power. Linux and several BSDs support Power too.

While that totally makes sense - it just seems odd, especially when compared against the Vista story (clearly the writers of the IP stack didn't learn enough from the old).

Anyone can get it wrong. But in the long run, dumping the XP code probably worked out. Just not right away.
