Also 100000 shots battery life is just poor. I don't play much these days, but I used to do hundreds of shots a day, perhaps well over a thousand. That's not even a year. And then what? Another $200 for another ball? I don't think so.

I also thought that was poor.

Larry Bird's younger self would have blown through a ball a week! 🙂

Most of this "wrong usage" of my e-mail comes into play with my Clutter (a feature which I like) and Junk folders.

Just a quick (even quicker) look through them to make sure nothing important filtered in.

@BRRABill I'm using a cloud ide - http://c9.io which has a live view of the code.

      My setup is...

      source control: bitbucket.com
      ide: c9.io
      ci: deploybot.com
      hosting: aws s3 / cloudfront

With a single commit from within c9 new code is pushed out to the s3 bucket and cdn cache invalidated.

There are basically two ways to approach it...

Read Only filesystem where it never changes, period. Snapshot filesystem that "rolls back" after being used. (Deep Freeze approach)

The later is useful more for testing that normal use. It makes the users THINK that they are making changes but then deletes them without warning. Good for a lab, bad for a normal desktop.

The point of the comment about free minecraft was a play on the word redstone being used for the development name of the current beta. For anyone who actively plays and build things, you know how important redstone is.

Admittedly, I've never played much. I've played the PE version just to piddle and see what all the fuss was about. It's kinda cool, but not up my alley, I don't think.

Nope, that's doin' something. You could stop the VMs and copy them manually somewhere else, but I don't think Hyper-V (just like ESXi and XS) doesn't have a built-in backup solution. You have to use another backup solution, and you can't do that on the management VM, cause that's doin' somethin' and would use a VM license.

      Technically XS does 😉

OH - OK I know most use XO - but I think Dustin was using something else before that...

      Yes, NAUBackup.

Actually I have no idea how the feds got tipped off.

For me, he said one price, then when my co-worker got there he raised the price $100.

      Scammy if nothing else.

I have to wonder if people like that complained about automatic transmissions in cars? I mean, they went from a manual process to one that's almost completely automatic (you still need to do some selecting) but did they say "Well I already know how to shift gears with a manual".

Disclaimer: I love driving manual transmissions, I don't think auto is better or worse just easier.

LOL - I saw a movie a long time ago... a kid was transported in time forward something like 20 years to when automatic transmissions were common. He was trying to make a get away, but couldn't figure out how the car worked since there wasn't as stick shift. lol

Yeah, I've shown the process to people as well. Younger people grasp it pretty quickly.. anyone 40 or over, just forget it.. they would rather whine than learn something new - which really isn't learned.. ultimate it's just muscle memory - they don't learn why they do it, etc.. they only know their a paint by numbers and they do that.. sadly it's not uncommon at all for someone else to come along and change one or two numbers without telling anyone else until years later and now that change has broken things... and they can't figure out why until they go back and look at the old process and the process creator asks why they aren't following the process, etc, etc, etc/.

I've heard that you can use the Android Studio to do this, but I haven't had time to test it at home, and at work, it doesn't work because I run Hyper-V, lol.

@johnhooks That's unheard of, a power connector that won't break!

Well the original plastic one broke. And it was part of the brace on the body of the laptop, not the adapter itself. So I just dremeled the hole bigger and soldered a DC connector from Radio Shack on. It's not coming off unless you run it over.

And instability often leads to security vulnerabilities, they tend to go hand in hand.
