Looks like I'll be home with the kids all the school districts in my county shut down until April 20th. My company will not give me any sort of exempted time off and no work-from-home policy for non medical reasons so I have to use PTO until that is exhausted from reading the policies put in place by our HR department.
Maybe it will affect enough employees that they'll change their minds.

Yep, I was thinking that. The employer may find they end up with a significant number of other employees in the same situation. Great way to piss off employees.

drive thrus are gonna be insane. restaurants are closing the dinning room and going strictly drive thru. guess its time to just take a nap instead of have lunch.

my boss' computer keeps dropping RDP, the VPN is fine... her office is the bermuda triangle for IT.

Laptop shopping... Why are ASUS laptops so much cheaper than Dell/HP?? Anybody have a higher end model (ZenBook, VivoBook, ProArt) to compare?

If my mac has something wrong with it, I just have Apple send someone to the house to fix it. Can't get that with ASUS.
