umm WTF?
You use old school *67 call forwarding or carrier call forwarding during the pre port timeframe.
then you already know everytihng is working because you were jsut forwarding to a SKyetel purchased number already.

Boss just Told me I only had 1 hour and 45 minutes for my day at home because thats what I have in billable hours on customer tickets....

We have to manually swap every phone on the desks when it ports. So it is testing all the power and stuff.

WTF.... better to work for a gas station. Walk out, call the state boards, get a better job (even outside of IT) and be done with this BS. These guys are crooks and the more they push, the more that they will know that they can push.

Eh still why?
My normal recommended process is set up new system on a disposable number
Test phones with designated users
schedule day to forward all calls to real number to disposable number and swap desk phones.
Wait for port.
