What Are You Doing Right Now

@dustinb3403 something like that.
But for a while now I think I have to pay attention to the road.
let's see... 80 MPH (117 Feet per second) and given the road conditions a 389.25 ft stopping distance, in Fog, while taking a photo with a cell phone... Ummmmm, yeah. You are probably right.

it's either an interesting mount or Siri has hands.

I'm sure it's probably between the steering wheel and the dash.
But with what looks like 1/4 to 1/2 mile visibility, your reaction time is very minimal.

Yeah the photo I had to take the phone out of them out to take a picture

You have greater visibility not greater reaction time. Reaction time is from the stimulus to to the response. Your reaction time will be diminished because of the divided attention as well as something in the hand if steering input is needed.
In 15 years of being the primary investigator on more fatal car crashes than I care to remember, I have just seen way too many dead bodies because of things like this. Every member here is valued and I don't wanna see any of them get hurt.

But... What am I doing now? I'm headed to a morning meeting... YUK...
-
You know it's funny, this is exactly how @JaredBusch and I met. My fan club is growing JB but you'll always be #1
-
@wirestyle22 So @JaredBusch is your Bottom B?
-
@dustinb3403 I'm his Iceberg Slim. Squeezing the miles out of him. In this case, years of his life.

Wondering why KVM is the flavor of the month but not for production because of backup options....

Backups are easy, just because nobody has already scripted everything for you.... I'm working on putting something together, but don't expect it soon.

Besides the lack of backup options like incremental VM backups. Open source, free, flexible, etc...
-
See https://mangolassi.it/topic/16067/nextcloud-scenario as my basis for the question.....

That's all available already, just normal file level backups. You just have to do some scripting to create a snapshot before doing the backup and remove it after.
-
I guess most of us have been spoiled with Veeam and assume it should all be easy.

If you want great, solid, do-it-with-your-eyes-closed enterprise level backup, you need to pay money, no matter your hypervisor. It's as simple as that.
