About to update Unifi controller software to v5.4.16.
I just updated my controller the other night. No issues at all.
Update went smoothly.... but I forgot my login password, so it's uninstall/reinstall time. Good thing I'm still testing and configuring.
Password manager time. . .

...or this time add email server info so the password reset email will actually get sent.

Burning the disk right now to wipe out my Qubes and try to put on Korora. Qubes is nice if you are concerned about security and don't mind VM's without the desktop, but I'm needing something more.

Just sent out another cover letter/resume. Here's hoping.
I'm out to help finish up closing down the other business here soon.
I hope this ends up being a promotion/raise for you ultimately
It should be, just hoping to stay away from menial labor for the time being.

I'm always working to keeping menial labor away...

What? http://www.zdnet.com/article/why-you-must-patch-the-new-linux-sudo-security-hole
Isn't that kind of the point of sudo?

And it's only commands that have write access. If all you can run is
find / -type f -perm -4000
You still can't do anything else.
I mean it's worth patching but like most other Linux is broken omg issues, it's not really an issue.

So this means your permissions are slightly more far reaching than intended?

Looking at expanding the ephemeral port range for our production web server.

How does one do that? I mean... you can cut into the non-ephemeral range by a few. But that's risky, weird and gets you essentially nothing. You are really out of ports?

This is what we've been trying to troubleshoot for a week and determine what's going on. The other alternative is to reduce the Time_Wait from the default of 240 seconds.
