As a parent of a child on the Autism Spectrum did the vaccinations cause it? No! Did they make things worse when he had too many at once yes! Did that have permanent affects? No. Shots don't cause Autism can they trigger issues if you are an idiot? That is the question.

@scottalanmiller When I had cancer I spent hours upon hours fighting with the insurance agency to get my treatment. Then when they finally approved treatment it wasn't the one my Oncologist recommended. It took me weeks to get them to kinda cover what I had to have done. Then when the bills started coming in I then had to spend more hours and days on the phone fighting with the hospital for correct billing. Then with the insurance company to pay their portion of said bill. Then with the hospital again to get the bill correct for the insurance agency. Then get to a Chemo appointment and find out I can't get my treatment because bills haven't been paid. The only thing that saved me in the end is a bad surgeon who missed some of what he was supposed to remove and had a hefty malpractice suit (which of course ended up only being enough to pay my hospital bills).

Now I don't have insurance and so far every dr I have had to see is more than willing to negotiate for cash payment on the spot. Which takes me like 10 minutes to do not hours and days.

Nerf guns maybe (VENDORS YOOOO WHOOO SWAG IDEA).

There is a reason that homeschooling is growing fast in the US. If you homeschool yes you have "required crap to teach" but if you are smart you hand your kid the book and say read it fast.

Required for NYS:
Elementary school required hours 6,480/ school year.
Math, reading, spelling, writing, the English language, geography, United States history (come on people the country isn't that old there isn't that much to teach), science, health education, music, visual arts, physical education, bilingual education and/or English as a second language where the need is indicated, NYS History (while one of the older settled areas and yes we have a lot of history here this can be taught in one year).

These have to be taught every year grades K-6: By the time my son was in 4th grade we had read the same crap over and over for NYS history especially.

I think honestly that you really only need through 6th grade. Anything beyond that would be because a kid wanted to learn more or needed to because they wanted to be a DR.

We spent most of the high school years reading biography's and learning real life skills. Math for one whole year was accounting, bookkeeping and basic life money skills.
