I am with @IRJ on this one. What is the actual risk? Is it worth the time to over engineer a solution when a basic setting will work?

Frankly, I'm frustrated that ICANN has allows so many registrars and SSL cert providers. There are over 1400 CAs trusted by Windows in 2010.

Any one of those CAs can be compromised and their root cert used to sign fake certs for any site on the internet, instantly having Windows trust those certs.

The whole security model on the internet is just broken. We don't have secure DNS or reliable Certificate Pinning.

It would be a monopoly if they didn't make it basically open. Or monopoly-ish. Not an open market.

Frankly, in this case, a monopoly, like you want for healthcare, seems like the better play. The fees should either be free or extremely low, only enough to handle the costs of administration and hardware required.

Universal coverage does not imply monopolistic treatment. Further, most countries with universal health coverage also have private systems too.

Like Panama... good healthcare for free or suckers can pay for private American healthcare from Johns Hopkins.

Or Bosnia, the only place I know of where the "free" is way worse than private to an insane degree, and that's because of a war so at least that's an excuse.

Johns Hopkins is the hospital that thought that nut job who thinks the pyramids were grain stores and all kinds of whacky things led their surgical department. You'd have to be insane to get treated at a hospital letting crazies like that even work there let alone run departments.

(Working there as a janitor would be okay, just not in healthcare portions of the business.)

That's the kind of hospital that removes your spleen because "if God wanted you to have it, he'd not have made it make you sick." Those people scare me.

No reason to use one over the other.

@Dashrender I want to categorize my articles by topic: (printing, blackberry, etc.)

In DokuWiki that would be namespaces. The only problem I've seen with categorizing in DokuWiki are people accidentally making a page in the root namespace, otherwise it's pretty simple.

Yeah, the namespace system adds a lot of complication for end users.

You can also block it at the SIP level with your provider. Do that along with international dialing, save yourself some headache.

If the SIP provider offers this, definitely. Using a route to do it stops your extensions (if compromised) from using them. Blocking them at the SIP carrier stops your PBX if compromised from calling them.

Neither stops you if the SIP provider is the one making the calls (looking at you, Megapath.)

I had an ELK server set up. I switched to Graylog. You don't need a specific forwarder, rsyslog just works. And you can get a pre-built VM to use. Kibana is an awesome tool, but just takes so much time to learn.

I prefer the agents. Much easier and more powerful.

They should've fixed problems with sh/bash/etc syntax instead of creating a bunch of new problems with some other disaster.

My guess is that with BASH available, PS will die off. I don't see any purpose to it other than filling a gap in the platform before. Even with PS they were struggling to be where Linux was there in the mid 1990s.

For a second I thought this was a picture of the karate gang leader from Karate Kid

The hero of the movie for sure.

There was a sitcom that had him on it... the main character loved this guy.. it was a funny bit.

Neater than Elastix for it? That's been around for a bit.

Do you prefer Elastix over FreePBX? If so, why?

Well FreePBX does not appear to be available on RP, right? So it is a moot point.

Nerd Vittles put their distro on RP long time ago and that uses the FreePBX GUI.

I assume lots of people have. But FreePBX themselves have not yet, that I've seen.
