We're really starting to stop with the processed foods, added sugars, plastics, etc...
On top of that, 5-6 oz of red wine almost every night, then drinking water before bed. I've been falling asleep so much faster, and my sleep quality has been so much better. I've been waking up to go to the gym around 5:15 to be there around 5:30am.
I started my "Alternate Workout", to give myself a boost...
Monday: 30 minutes of gym time (mostly stretching, stomach exercises if time permits, and 5-10 mins of cardio)
Tuesday: Day 1
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday: Day 2
Friday: Day 3
Saturday: Rest day
SUnday: Rest dayHowever, this week, I got to the gym late on Thursday, so I could only do half of my workout. So I finished the other half today, plus stomach. I'll do Day 3 tomorrow on Saturday.

No time to go to the gym? Do it before work if it's mathematically possible.
Go to bed an hour earlier.
Find out when your gym opens... mine opens at 5:30, so I have time for a 45-60 minute workout and then a shower before going to work.
So long as you don't start work too early or your commute isn't too long, try it! It's a nice way to start the day.

You can also use a 24 hour gym, we have some around here.

Yeah i'm limited to going to the YMCA though, or I would. No sense in paying double memberships when we can do a cheap family one there.

Gotcha, that is good. I am doing it at home so far with HIIT Workouts.

Oh that’s weird. Our Y is super expensive. The yearly fee is $300 something alone and the the monthly costs. The gym I go to is only $36 a month and it’s 24/7.

Most gym's are cheaper than the Y. I had a membership for a while and it was $20/month for 24/7 access nationwide. And I could bring as many people per day as I wanted (1 at a time).

The YMCA I go to is a family plan... me, my wife, and children, plus child watch up to 2 hours at a time. It's $88 a month.

One time I was sad so I went to the gym at 3 am and did a work out. Then my friends texted me if I was still up and we went to crappy diner and ate hash browns. it was a good time. I'm glad gyms are open 24/7.

Second week in my diet and I have lost 14 pounds. I am eating healthy but when you cut out sugar and soda it is amazing how much weight you initially loose right away.
I lost around 20 lbs over the past week.... you really don't want this sort of weight loss program tho. It was all water bloat from heart issues.
same happened to my friend when his appendix burst.

I don't think that I lost anything when that happened other than the weight of the appendix.

Anybody tried TRF?

Just bought a Total Gym 1100 and Babylon 5 complete series on Amazon.

I do weight watchers. I just pay 13 dollars a month to use their app, I don't buy anything else. Honestly, the best approach is to eat reasonable food in the correct portions. I am not eating any sugar, or drinking soda. The only things I drink other than water are coffee in the morning and maybe an unsweet ice tea. Instead of red meat, I tend to the leaner meats, poultry. This doesn't mean I don't eat steak or pork. I just plan my diet that day to allow for that type of stuff. It is hard. My wife and I both have been gaining weight, she went to the doctor and was upset about her weight so we both agreed to do something about it. That helps to have someone doing it with you. I have lost 19 lbs but have another 60 to go. So I am nowhere near my goal.

Sounds like great progress being made and well worth the effort!

@penguinwrangler I have also stopped eating sugary candy. I do still eat strawberries and grapes almost daily, but it is much better than a couple full size snickers bars every day.
