@scottalanmiller Pretty much how she makes them for me. Less bitters though I believe. Have tried it with sugar cube and simple syrup.

@brandon220 Orange bitters in an old fashioned is also tasty.

@RojoLoco Yes. Have a bottle of that too. I've heard Peychaud's Bitters is good too but haven't picked up a bottle yet. They have it on Amazon. Local places don't carry it.

I don't have a lot in the house, so I'm trying peach vodka (New Amsterdam) and grenadine.

Maybe you could use taskrabbit to get some groceries and stuff delivered? Or Uber to the store?
