What Are You Doing Right Now

It's hard to follow because of the way that all old posts turn into "Guest." That was CreativeOne, he was being beligerent to people this morning but was very technically inaccurate in order to do so and as soon as it was clear just how off he way, he deleted his account and ran away. Simple stuff - like claiming SeaLion's free tier was a trial (see the trusting online providers thread) and correcting a PBX discussion where he said trunks weren't extensions, but they demonstrably are. Both cases he was having issues with the abstractions involved and wanted "to be right" at any cost. But when you aren't right, the more you "need to be right" the worse it gets.
Neither was bad. But making such basic mistakes when trying to belittle others tends to be pretty embarrassing.
Well, that's disappointing. Not a dig at him or anything but I have found that those that are highly creative (musicians, sound techs, programmers etc) can be quite volatile.

For anyone else considering the rage quit option, I suggest taking some time away (like a cooling off period). Rage quitting solves nothing and you take the same issues with you to the next place you go to.
Remember to use your words to problem solve and, please be kind to others.
Think before you hit submit.

Kinda funny in a sad way, he was one of the people that had talked a bit about the weirdness of rage quitting of other people. That he was one of the ones who did it is very odd.
Who knows what the motivation was. He had an odd morning. Nothing was heated or even notable. Then suddenly, his account was deleted.

That's it! I quit too!

LOL uh.. NOT!..

What the heck did I miss!

Wow spend a day on the road and I miss a ton around here! Back in the office today trying to catch up.

Just saw a post on Spiceworks that some of the Green Guys are getting that status for free while others are told that they have to pay more than a thousand dollars a month!

A friend of mine in the remote west of Panama was in a taxi that hit a guy last night!

It's rough on the roads out here. We saw a body in the highway on Saturday night. Apparently he had run across the PanAmerican highway and didn't make it to the other side. He was being prepped for the morgue when we saw him.

Wow, are things like that commonplace there?

I have no idea. We don't have enough of a sampling to have good data. But for two weeks we've been saying things like "it's amazing that more people don't get hit running across the road like this."
Honestly, for the number of people that we see running in the road in the dark, it's astounding that anyone is still alive. In the US, we'd have a far worse rate given the number of people in the roads. It's the crazy people running across the roads that causes the accidents here, the drivers are amazingly good.

Very short one. That's the voice of @pchiodo talking about the windmill blades.
