@WrCombs I usually have some Canadian whiskey around for mixing, but sometimes I'll spring for a nice bourbon or rye. Been looking for the new Whistle Pig "Piggyback" 6 year (should be reasonably priced vs their 10/18 year).
Crown's about as Canadian as I get for whisky,
but I have been Trying different things recentlyI can assure you that nearly any other Canadian whiskey is better than Crown. That stuff is kinda harsh.

I probably drank way too much of it when I worked in a liquor store. It's what my brother had around all the time. But you can get the 12 year reserve Canadian Club for about the same as crown.

@scottalanmiller I'd throw Buffalo Trace and Bulleit in there too. And AAA (Ancient Ancient Age) if you can find it.

I put it as very middle of the road. But middle of the road whiskey is pretty good. It's smooth and tasty, but nothing particularly special. But I always enjoy one.

Those are good, it's whether or not their are mass market I'm not so sure. Bulleit especially is local here so we see it constantly, but not so much when farther away.
Had some this week, though!

Bulleit is easy to find around Atlanta. And their rye is my go-to for a regular price old fashioned.

Same here. I drink rye more than bourbon and it is often what I am able to find.

Well,.. at least it’s not the Fireball got poured in my tumbler face...okay, what's the story of JB and Fireball?
Have you had fireball?
Who hasn't? It's like Captain Morgan, cheap and everywhere.
But at least Captain Morgan is tolerable.

Thanks @BRRABill for hooking me up with a rack

Can’t Hardly swing a rock and not hit a distiller here in Central Kentucky well we are in central bourbon country.
Sadly I can’t find a bourbon that I like, maybe it’s just me not liking bourbon

Time for my hot Saturday date: Doing work during the Saturday change window.

Nice! Don't try to put any big servers or heavy stuff in it though. It's made for small switches, patch panels and such - things you can mount in the rack ears.

Yeah, that's a two post switch rack, not a four post server rack.

Finally back to doing some Linux Academy stuff. I had zero time to devote to it last week.

Don't feel bad. Facebook is designed to be an addiction - like alcohol or tobacco.
You may not know why you rejoined but Facebook's psychologists knows exactly why. -
@Pete-S Sad but true
