Guiding my dad through setting up an Ubiquiti Bridge and then a router in the DR over the phone.

He is the DR, and I am in US and I am guiding him. Now all done.
Sweet. Have you considered setting up a personal FreePBX box and sending him a phone that will connect to it? No more International calling rates.
We talk through Whatsapp and Telegram so far, I can link him to my VoIP.ms account though if I wanted to.

Kids just headed off to their homeschool book club at the Carrollton Public Library.

Gotta say, it's been a week since the drama hit on
and I've been on the road nearly 50% of that time, so I've been almost totally absent over here, and our activity has been great and reader traffic is up like 50%! -

Kid are doing a "dig through clay to find fake dinosaur parts" activity. They really enjoy these, for some reason.
