been on hold for 20 minute with my home warranty company.
trying to find out if I was misled on coverage.
Oh jeez, best of luck with that....
This is partly on me. I did not notice one bit. But the agent also never informed me about it. But my inquiry when I renewed it was a bit generic and rushed at the time. so again also partyl my fault.

Jeez, Monday... how about a little lube next time???
Broke a temporary crown this a.m., had to leave work to get it fixed. On the way to the dentist I get a call saying the power had been out for a few minutes (max 15 min runtime on our UPSes). Now the network is being squirrelly. Yay Monday.

Also that sucks.
But we know @RojoLoco is smart enough to leave a disaster area before it becomes impossible to leave.

This topic feels like a blast from the past HALizard and XenServer.
HALizard is doing as is designed for its function, moving and powering on VM's. OP is confused as to why. . .

I need an easy way to get files to and from my dad. Files aren't ridiculously large, but they are bigger than email or even Amazon Cloud Drive can handle. About 2-5GB tops. Anyone have a good idea? I don't need storage, just a good way to move them from my office to his for processing, and back again.

Doesn't handle files of that size well. I've tried. I'll give it another try now that I'm on a better connection. But I definitely had issues previously.

How about just a simple SFTP server?

Nextcloud has no problem with files of this size in the sync client. You can run into HTTP timeout issues if you try and upload those on the web interface.
Just make sure to turn off the stupid ask for confirmation setting in the client. It defaults to 500 MB.
