I was on the way home at noon, but when I got here there was a failed drive, so I had to go back for the spare. It's alright, I have a fun night planned.

Had a good conversation with a co-worker (a dev in the IT dept, newer to the field than I) for the last 30 minutes about dealing with business challenges. Despite being almost done with year 4 in IT, really in the last eight months or I've begun to realize what IT's actual place is in the world of business (see the various threads about what is IT). It's curious as I come to these realizations I'm experiencing a sensation of "I knew this, but didn't realize that this is what the this is."

There is a lot of that in IT. It's so informal that people kind of guess and no one really says things or writes them down.

You go through and subscribe to every group.

@scottalanmiller That's nice, there has been a lot of posts that do not make sense as per IT Standpoint. I have been on 28 posts that needed answer and other more topics but my last 2 days have been a lot of driving so less posting...
