What Are You Doing Right Now

Had a good conversation with a co-worker (a dev in the IT dept, newer to the field than I) for the last 30 minutes about dealing with business challenges. Despite being almost done with year 4 in IT, really in the last eight months or I've begun to realize what IT's actual place is in the world of business (see the various threads about what is IT). It's curious as I come to these realizations I'm experiencing a sensation of "I knew this, but didn't realize that this is what the this is."

There is a lot of that in IT. It's so informal that people kind of guess and no one really says things or writes them down.

You go through and subscribe to every group.

Just checking the numbers before calling it a night and wow, what a strong day we had. Fridays tend to be good, but normally the numbers drop off this late in the evening. But they are strong today, very strong in posts AND very strong in views on the same day. It's been a strong week after the holiday.
