friday morning. what a completely upside down week, glad it's close to finishing, somehow i've got to this point with no dramas.
grabbed an old 44 gallon drum off a bloke down the road. the underside is stamped with 'Property Air Force U.S. Army'
how the sam hill did that end up in our small town??

We were turned away from the meeting that we were invited to for dressing like Americans. So we just waited outside and took a taxi back.
Dressing like americans?
Yeah, it's about 95 degrees and no air conditioning and blazing sun, so we were in dress shorts, and button down collared shirts. Still pretty hot, but not unbearable. But the cultural thing is to wear jeans and whatever shirt. So they turned us away. Not for not being dressed up, we were dressed up far more than the people that they let in. Just turned us for not wearing warmer clothes.

And this was the bar that turned you away? as in the bar itself had a dress code?
