Sitting in a parking lot in Rochester this morning working. Had to take Mother in law to drys appt.
It is freezing (15F) and snowing hard here.... should be a fun ride back home.

Swearing in my head at Windows updates that got installed on a Wednesday instead of Tuesday. I WAITED TO START TRANSFERING MY BACKUP SERVER TO THE NEW HOST BECAUSE I KNOW UPDATES ARE TUESDAY MICROSOFT! Grrr. Looks like the transfer got nixed near the end because I've got 612GB out of 680GB. Guess it's time to start the rsync and wait.

I installed from scratch. Setting up folder redirection, and doing some other misc stuff. It just feels so disconnected.

Of course it is, everything in windows is a lot more complicated than on Linux. It's shocking when you are using to hearing the marketing from the people who haven't used Linux. Use both and it is amazing how much easier Linux is both for end users and for admins.
